Tunis Stock Exchange is pleased to announce its participation for the first time to the World Investor Week, launched in 2017 by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and which takes place this year from September 30th to October 6th. The aim of this week is to promote the financial education of investors to strengthen their financial capacities as a protection mechanism.
In this respect, Tunis Stock Exchange organized today, in relationship with the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), a bell ringing ceremony to promote financial literacy "Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy".
On the sidelines of this event, Tunis Stock Exchange kicked off the 7th edition of the Myinvestia Stock Market Challenge, which aims at enabling participants to simulate practicing the stock market and to learn about good practices in portfolio investment.
On this occasion, Tunis Stock Exchange signed two partnership agreements with the Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Zaghouan and with the Graduate School of Economics, Accounting, Finance and Management of the “Ecole Supérieure de Commerce of Tunis” (ESCT), to promote the financial culture among students.
Note that Tunis Stock Exchange is among the most advanced and most active in financial education thanks to its Investia initiative to promote the culture of financial investment through the challenge MyInvestia and especially through its e-learning platform Investia Academy, the first of its kind in the MENA region and Africa.
